Certain areas of this website are only available to members of CRIME SEEN! 

These areas include Area Watch Groups information, Crime Alerts and

 Report an Incident. Why not look into joining today? Here's how:

CRIME SEEN! is a non-profit making organisation.  Membership to CRIME SEEN! is currently FREE provided that you are a member of one of the many Business Crime Reduction watches operating in the Wakefield District. Membership is also currently FREE to any agency or organisation working to reduce Business Crime anywhere in the District.

You can register your interest in becoming a member in the Membership Section of this website. CRIME SEEN! staff will then look at the area in which your business operates, the type of business and your operating hours in order to direct your membership interest to the appropriate watch group.

How it Works:

As an example: A Pub operating in Pontefract completes the on line registration form on the CRIME SEEN! website.  Once registered with CRIME SEEN! the details of the Pub would be forwarded to the co-ordinator of Pontefract Pub Watch.

The co-ordinator of Pontefract Pub Watch would then contact the Pub and explain the benefits and cost of being a member of a watch that operates to reduce crime against that type of business. Once the Pub is accepted as a member of Pontefract Pub Watch, membership into CRIME SEEN! is automatic. 

Alternatively someone from CRIME SEEN! can provide a simple application form that will take you only a few minutes to complete. You will be required to sign up to and abide by the protocols that cover information sharing.
